“On the morning of april 19, two ADF monuments in so-called ‘queen’s park’, on occupied Wurundjeri Country, were vandalised. These actions took place ahead of a planned ANZAC commemoration ceremony that afternoon.

We reject the veneration of racist, colonising soldiers who fought to enact the imperialist interests of the british empire and defend ‘australia’s’ violent occupation of Aboriginal lands.

Fuck the ANZACs and all ‘australian’ servicemen before and since.

Lest we forget the horrific colonial invasion of this continent, the Indigenous warriors and martyrs of the frontier wars and subsequent regime. Lest we forget the countless acts of genocide, massacres and colonial violence committed by ‘australian’ troops, here and across the world.

Those killed fighting to protect a colonial regime get what they deserve.
